Febvre is back

Romain Febvre set for Hawkstone International return in 2026

Romain Febvre has been confirmed to race the 2026 Hawkstone International, with the French star lining up at Hawkstone Park on Sunday 15 February 2026.

The announcement sees the 2025 MXGP World Champion back on British soil aboard his Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP machine, continuing a run of appearances that began with his Hawkstone debut in 2023. Febvre has since returned in 2024 and 2025, making the International a familiar and important fixture in his early-season race schedule.

The Hawkstone International has established itself as one of motocross’s most respected pre-season events. Staged on the iconic natural-terrain circuit at Hawkstone Park in Shropshire, it consistently attracts factory teams and elite riders looking for high-level competition before the MXGP World Championship gets underway.

Febvre’s confirmation adds serious weight to the 2026 line-up, giving fans an early chance to see the reigning world champion in full race mode ahead of the new season. The demanding Hawkstone layout, combined with mid-February conditions, has long been known for producing close racing and setting the tone for the months ahead.

With further rider announcements still to come, the 2026 Hawkstone International is already shaping up as a key date on the off-road calendar and a standout moment in the build-up to the MXGP season.
